Ingredients
  

Fajita Seasoning Mix

  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano dried
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground preferred
  • 1/2 tsp lime powder or a pinch of citric acid (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Transfer the seasoning mix to an airtight container or spice jar. Label and store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
  • Use 1 to 2 tablespoons per pound of meat or vegetables when making fajitas.

Notes

This seasoning is great for chicken, beef, shrimp, or grilled vegetables. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne or crushed red pepper flakes. For taco seasoning, add sugar and a bit more chili powder.
