Ingredients

boneless chicken breasts
sliced into thin pieces

freshly grated Parmesan cheese

pasta
penne, fettuccine, or rotini
to taste
salt and black pepper

Italian seasoning

reserved pasta water
if needed to thin sauce
Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt more butter if needed and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add heavy cream and simmer on low for 3–5 minutes. Stir in parmesan cheese gradually until sauce is creamy and smooth.
Add cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet. Mix well until coated. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
Garnish with more parmesan or fresh herbs. Serve warm with garlic bread or salad.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with evaporated milk. You can also add spinach, mushrooms, or bacon for extra flavor.
