  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil or butter.
  • Once hot, sauté the minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and salt. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle in parsley if using.
  • Pour over cooked shrimp or serve as a dipping sauce.

Notes

This sauce works great with grilled, sautéed, or even boiled shrimp. Adjust garlic and lemon to your liking!
