Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium high heat (about 400°F).
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to form a dry rub.
Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, then rub with olive oil.
Generously coat the salmon fillets with the seasoning mix. Let rest for 10–15 minutes to absorb flavors.
Place the salmon fillets on the preheated grill, skin side down. Grill for about 5–6 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
Remove from grill, rest for 2 minutes, then serve with lemon wedges or fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Try switching the rub with a Mediterranean blend of lemon zest, oregano, parsley, and garlic for a different twist.
